Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal
Govt. of Haryana has decided to set up a new Medical College at Karnal located on the G.T. Road. The college spread over in an area of 43 acres approximately is coming up in the premises of existing General Hospital, Karnal. Presently, General Hospital Karnal is 200 bedded hospital and efforts are being made to upgrade the same to 300 bedded hospital in the first phase and will ultimately be upgraded to 500 bedded hospital. The Govt. desires to provide state of the art medical services at Karnal. The institution once completed will have latest machinery/equipment and teaching facilities for admission to 100 Under Graduate seats.
The following posts are proposed to be filled up by way of direct recruitment on regular basis.
1.Medical Superintendent
2.Professor
3.Associate Professor
4.Assistant Professor
5.Sr. Resident
6.Jr. Resident
Note: The reservation of posts will be applicable as per State Govt. rules.
Terms & Conditions :
1. The teaching staff will be regulated as per rules of the Govt. Medical College which are at par with the rules currently applicable to the employees of Pt. B.D Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak.
2. The retirement age of teaching staff will be 65 years.
3. The pay scales will be same as applicable to similarly placed staff working in Pt. B.D.Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak.
4. Number of posts for all categories may increase or decrease.
5. The application on prescribed proforma must reach to the Director, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal on or before 24.04.2012 (for remote areas 03.05.2012) by 5.00 PM through Registered/ Speed Post only.
