ERNET India, an autonomous scientific society under Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), M/o Communications & Information Technology, has been set  up with the objectives to: develop, set up and operate a nationwide state-of-the-art Computer Communication Infrastructure, undertake and promote education, research & development, training and standardization in the area of computer networking and  information technology, and  develop options for the consideration of the Government, for the development of information infrastructure and computer networking in the country.
ERNET India is currently executing a R&D project focused on educational cloud services for the secondary / senior secondary schools. We are looking for developers with expertise in the following two categories focusing on infrastructure and content development.

The posts for the above project as in Section-I below will be filled up on contract basis.
Section I
1) Project Engineer #

Educational Qualification & experience:
B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in the field of Electronics/ Electrical/Electronics and Communication /Telecommunication/Computer Science/Master Degree in Physics with specialization in Electronics/MCA with B.Sc.with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University/Institution
      Or
M.Sc@ in Physics/ Chemistry/Maths with minimum  of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised
University/Institution
      Or

M.E/M.Tech in the field of Electronics/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/Telecommunication/Computer Science with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University /Institution.

2) Sr. Project Engineer

B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent in the field of  Electronics/Electrical/Electronics and Communication
/Telecommunication/Computer  Science with minimum of 60% marks in  aggregate from a recognised University /Institution.
Experience – 7 years in the relevant field (*)
      Or
M.E/M.Tech in the field of Electronics/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/Telecommunication/Computer
Science with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University /Institution.
Experience – 5 years in the relevant field  (*)
      Or
Ph.D.in the field of Electronics/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/ Telecommunication/Computer Science (*) Computer Programming/Computer Networking/Satellite Communication/Internet & Web Technology.


 3) Project Manager

Educational Qualification & experience:
B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent in the field of  Electronics/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/
Telecommunication/Computer  Science with minimum of 60% marks in  aggregate from a recognised University /Institution.
Experience – 9 years in the relevant field (*)
      Or  M.Sc@ in Physics/Chemistry/Maths with minimum of 60%  marks in aggregate from  a recognised University /Institution.
Experience – 9 years in e-Learning Content Development
      Or
M.E/M.Tech in the field of Electronics/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/Telecommunication /Computer Science with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised University /Institution.
Experience – 8 years in the relevant field(*)
      Or
Ph.D.in the field of Electronics/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/Telecommunication/Computer Science Experience – 5 years in the relevant field (*) 
(*) Computer Programming/Computer Networking/Satellite Communication/Internet & Web Technology

. Candidates applying for all the posts must enclose Demand Draft of  Rs.500/- in favour of  ERNET India, New Delhi along with the application. However, SC/ST candidates are exempted from the fees.
