ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF CIVIL JUDGES

Vacancy and Pay Scale :-
(i) The High Court of Gujarat, in view of the guidelines of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Malik Mazhar Sultan & Anr. V/s. U.P. Public Service Commission & Ors. and the Gujarat State Judicial Service Rules, 2005, invites Online applications from the eligible candidates, for filling up, by Competitive Examination, approximately 320 vacancies (33 Regular + 287 Ad-hoc), existing & future, in the cadre of Civil Judges, in the Pay-Scale of Rs.27,700-770- 33,090-930- 40,530-1080- 44,850 + allowances as admissible under the Rules.
(ii) The High Court reserves its right to alter the number of posts than notified.
(iii) Online Application can be made from 1.00 p.m. on 01/05/2012. Last date for submission of Online Application is 15/05/2012 till 23:59 hours.
(iv) Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test), is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the month of June / July-2012.
(v) Competitive Examination shall consist of (A) Main Written Examination and (B) Oral Interview.
